City of Lakes Community Band Raises $1,090 on Give to the Max Day, With 100% of Donors Covering Fees

Minneapolis, MN — The City of Lakes Community Band (CLCB) is proud to announce that it raised a total of $1,090 during this year’s Give to the Max Day, Minnesota’s statewide celebration of generosity. Thanks to the remarkable support of donors, and because every contributor chose to cover processing fees, the full amount will go directly to CLCB to support its mission and programming.

Give to the Max Day is an essential opportunity for nonprofits across Minnesota to rally community support, and this year’s results reflect the strength of CLCB’s connection with its audience, musicians, and supporters.

“We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by our community,” said CLCB leadership. “Knowing that every donor intentionally chose to cover their fees is especially meaningful. It shows how deeply our supporters believe in the work we’re doing and want to ensure every dollar goes toward strengthening our music community.”

Funds raised will directly support CLCB’s ongoing operations, including purchasing new music, instrument maintenance, community outreach efforts, and the continued development of inclusive, high-quality performances across Minneapolis. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, CLCB relies on donor support to sustain its mission of Community in Concert and foster accessible, lifelong musicianship.

This year’s Give to the Max Day success follows an exciting period of growth for the band, including recent collaborations with Minneapolis Public Schools and new investments in instruments and artistic programming.

CLCB extends its appreciation to every donor who contributed and helped amplify the organization’s mission. The band looks forward to continuing its almost 45-year tradition of service, performance, and community connection.
