Why should I join the City of Lakes Community Band?

The CLCB has deep roots in Minneapolis and St. Paul. It has endured through 40 years, and it will endure another 40 beyond these times. When you join our community, you are joining people who have diverse lived experiences and who show up and play together with joy, respect and care. 

The CLCB is full of folks who are kind and altruistic in the truest sense of the word. This band is worth joining because the people who you'll play with are excellent. Not just as musicians, but as people who will be there for you through it all. 

Rehearsals take place on Tuesday nights from 7pm-9pm at Washburn High School from September-June. There are no regular rehearsals during the summer months.
