The City of Lakes Community Band is a vibrant group of 75+ volunteer musicians based in South Minneapolis. From classical favorites and Broadway hits to jazz standards and rousing marches, our concerts are free, fun, and family-friendly—perfect for audiences of all ages.

Since 1981, our mission has been simple: celebrate the joy of live music, support lifelong learning for musicians, and strengthen connections across our community. Whether performing in the park, on stage, or at community events, we’re proud to share the spirit of music with the Twin Cities.
